Do you remember how the summer never seemed to end when you were a child? How the school years dragged forever? For me, it was like an eternity!
But now, it’s the opposite! The weeks and months seem to fly by so fast. Each year feels shorter and shorter!
It’s crazy how time goes faster as we grow older! I find myself saying things like: ‘Is it New Year already?’ ‘Has it really been 4 years since the last Football World Cup??’
Why does time fly when we are older? And is there a way to slow it down?
Well, I am glad to tell you that I found some answers! And it’s pretty simple!
You see, Life is a series of moments. It is lived one moment at a time.
To make time slow down, you have to create memorable moments.
It’s so simple. When your day or week is full of exciting memories, it will feel longer. When your day is just boring routine, you will not remember it. It’s like it was never part of your life!
These moments become memorable when we stop living in the past, enjoy the present, and look forward to the future.
Sometimes, memorable moments occur by pure chance. It could be a glance from a stunning woman (or man), a shooting star, or a beautiful sunset or a nice childhood memory. Whatever it is that makes our eyes open wide and leaves us speechless. That becomes memorable.
But I also found that our time can also be memorable with the help of special music.
That’s why I started composing music for the imagination under Lazy Vibes. Music that will take you on a magical nostalgic journey. Music that helps in creating those special memorable moments.
I am thrilled when people tell me that my music brought up nice memories or put a smile on their face. I hear that all the time, and it makes me happy.
In the end, it’s YOU, the listener, that makes all of it matter!
That’s why I would really like you to be part of my musical journey.
Now, if you’d like to hear the most recent milestone of that journey, click here to listen to my latest album, ‘Retro Nostalgia’.
Thank you for being a great listener and for making it all matter 🙂
